Ziggy is an easy- going pup that loves to play and snuggle. Despite coming from a
puppy mill, he warms fairly quickly to people, and there probably isn’t a dog that he
doesn’t like.
Ziggy’s favorite pastimes include:
1. Playing with other dogs. He is known to zoom around and start a good game of
chase.
2. Playing with toys. He likes to play on his own with toys, but is also a good at
sharing. If another pup wants his toy, he easily goes and finds a different one.
3. Playing with people. Ziggy is a natural at playing fetch. It is fun to watch him hop
like a rabbit after a ball and then eagerly return it to the thrower.
Ziggy is easy to settle. If someone is willing to give him belly scratches, pets, and
snuggles, he is right there. His favorite place to nap is on someone’s lap or by their
feet, after they earn his trust.
Ziggy’s training and progress include:
1. Potty training. He uses the potty pad about 80% of the time and will go potty
outside with other dogs, if it is not bitterly cold. At night he keeps his penned area
clean.
2. Kennel training. Ziggy is not a fan of the kennel, but is getting more used to it
each day, as it is where he eats and where he can also get ahold of some tasty
treats.
3. Basic Commands. He is making progress and again, tasty treats are motivators.
Any family would be lucky to have him, although a little extra patience and time may be
required to help foster his trust.
