Ziggy is doing great in his foster home! He does great with kids and other dogs! He will make a great addition to his future forever home!

He is beginning to walk well on the leash, but sometimes needs a little reminder to "heel" or "easy" when he gets moving a little too fast helps him remember his leash manners.

He is learning to be patient for his food and sits and waits until I tell him to eat. He knows "sit" and is working on being quicker to respond to commands. He is also learning "turn" and "shake" and even working on his recall! Ziggy is working on remembering not to jump on people and waiting his turn to go outside. He gets so excited when we get home, that he sometimes can't help but hop up and say hi.

We don't allow dogs on the furniture in our home and Ziggy is learning to stay off even though he would probably be a good couch snuggler. We think he could also make a great nursing home visiting dog, as he loves to lay his head on your lap and receive pets.

Ziggy can't wait to find his forever home and is hoping it is with you!
