Hi, my name is Timber, and I am looking for my forever family. I am a big guy who loves to be close to his people. I love to snuggle and I will get the stompa- stomps if you scratch my butt just right.

I know how to sit, lay down, and shake. I love to lay in your lap and give you chin kisses so you know how much I love you. I love to play with other dogs and get along well with my cat siblings. I can be timid in new situations, and I am still not brave enough to go down the stairs to the basement of our house.

You don’t have to worry about getting me a kennel; I lie on the couch when left home alone. I am potty trained, and will let you know when I want to go outside. I am an excellent guard dog, I will alert you to all sorts of potential dangers! These include neighbors taking out the trash, the mailman, and the vacuum cleaner. My foster mom says that people are allowed to be outside, and we are working on being better neighbors and not barking so much.

It took me a little bit, but I am figuring out how to play with toys- tug of war can be so much fun! I love to go on walks and stopping to smell all the smells is my favorite part! I can get excited and pull when I want to get to the next smell. I love to nap, although it can be hard to sleep with my foster parents laughing and taking pictures of all the funny positions I get myself into while snoozing.
