Hi! I’m Stevie!

I’m an adorable, playful puppy who is very curious! I’m cautious and a bit timid at first, but after I have time to warm up, get a few pets and a snuggle, you’ll win me over in no time! I love to chew & play with my foster siblings! I live with both dogs and cats! I like to chase the cats but would never hurt them. One of them even plays with me from time to time, which I really enjoy! I would really enjoy & benefit from a younger dog to run around and play with, and someone to show me the ropes in my new home. I have lots of love to give & mounds of energy! While having another dog would benefit me socially, I am fed separately & can be possessive of certain treats. I haven’t ever hurt anyone but will growl to let the other dogs know I feel strongly that they leave me alone while I finish eating. My fosters help them respect my boundaries while I finish eating without incident.

I’m working on crate training and potty training! I am crated while my foster family isn’t home, and at night, in their bedroom. I don’t bark at night in their room if they’re there to tell me I’m ok and reassure me. Because I bark a bit when I’m first kenneled, so shared walls, with neighbors, might not be the best situation for me. I’m a quick learner and am eager to please! I have kind of a sensitive tummy so my foster family is cautious of what types of treats they give me!
