Jackson has been such a joy to his foster family since coming to Journey Home. He is fully potty trained and kennels well when it’s time for him and his furry roommates to eat or rest. Jackson gets along with dogs of all sizes and ages and has come so far in building his confidence in his foster home. He is a snuggle bug at heart and his favorite place to be is on the couch with a buddy (human or canine). Jackson is also highly trainable, he learned basic commands and not to jump for attention very quickly after moving into his foster home.
Jackson has a hard time immediately trusting new humans and can bark when meeting new friends and usually needs some time to warm up before he wants a cuddle or pets from new humans. However, Jackson has had zero issues with any kids he meets! From the very first day, Jackson has been so gentle and affectionate with his foster family, which includes four kids under the age of 10. Once Jackson is comfortable, he is the most snuggly, playful, loving cuddle bug you could ask for!
