Hi, I’m Izzy! When I first arrived into rescue, I was pregnant and very scared. I soon warmed up to my foster mom, and I was very glad to be able to give birth in a safe place. For the past couple months, I’ve been taking very good care of my puppy in my foster home. But now that my puppy is getting older, I’m looking forward to finding my forever home where I can relax and have fun.

I’m still young myself, so I can be very playful and energetic. When I get excited, I get the zoomies! I also love playing with chew toys and bones. I’ve made friends with the resident cat, and we enjoy running around and chasing each other. I also get along with the two resident dogs.

Because of my past, I am still scared of new people and new situations. I do tend to bark at things or people when I get scared. I’m not quite used to going outside to go potty yet, but I do very well going on potty pads inside. As the weather gets warmer, I will be working on going outside more often. Once I warm up to someone, I am very friendly and affectionate. I love giving my foster mom kisses. I will need a family who will be patient with me and give me plenty of time to adjust.
