Dodge is a gentle sweetheart! He is calm, affectionate, and very quiet. He enjoys snuggles, pets, and being brushed. When inside, he likes to nap near you or in a quiet corner of the room. Dodge never barks or even whines. If something startles him, he finds a quiet space to tuck away in. Dodge loves to greet dogs and cats with a gentle nose bump. He enjoys their company but never tries to chase or roughhouse with them. Dodge is patient until it’s mealtime, and then he gets excited—he does love to eat!

Dodge is house-trained. He doesn’t enjoy going into a kennel but will stay without a peep once he’s in. In his foster home, he is free roaming at all times because he is so quiet, mellow with the other pets, and causes no problems at all.

Dodge walks well on a leash and is not reactive to other people, dogs, or even squirrels and rabbits. He is embarking on a new healthy lifestyle plan with daily walks and activities and good food for weight management. Check back for updates from Dodge on his progress!
